It's been a pleasure, mainly, to once more hear the voices of kin as they talk amongst themselves. People come and go, but the guild is once more growing, and operating in accordance with the principles set down when Twilight Serenity was founded. There has been a barrier to that growth for some time, an obstacle which I, and perhaps others, understood perfectly. Discussion of matters great and small, important and seemingly trivial - all these act to bind the family closer together. We may sometimes not be in agreement with what we hear, we may sometimes not hear welcome words, or may feel that some responses were undeserved, but on the whole things get better day by day.

I may soon be able to set someone on the path I tread. It's been far too long since I was able to teach a prospective rogue the secrets of the profession. And I've been asked to show somebody else a few techniques they might find useful while wielding an axe in their off-hand. I hope both will learn what I may be in a position to teach. And while we teach, we also still learn. I do what I do, not without thinking, but sometimes without full conscious thought about what I am doing. A lesson with another puts me back in that frame of mind where I concentrate on every move, think out the reasons step-by-step for doing certain things in certain ways - a reminder to me that I should never be too unthinking about what I may do as I roam these lands.
