I saw many today. I met Lucius. He seems nice. Jaltz and Badger came too. Thorin was sleeping. I saw others when I went to open locks like I said I would.

I got asked questions and tried to help. He says he got his gauntlets. That's good.

Dael and I talked. I think he wants to be a rogue. He asked about quiet places. I'll tell him about the ones I know next time I see him.

I learned more sayings today. When someone says you haven't bitten them yet they don't mean they thought you were going to. When someone asks what you've been up to they don't want to know about mountains and stairs.

I'll remember that.

I slept a long time in the quiet dark. I woke though and unlocked things like I said I would. People said hello. I knew some of them. That was good.

Jaltz asked what I dreamed about. I told him I don't remember any. I don't know if you dream in the quiet dark or not. If you dream about dreaming what do you dream in your dream's dream? I didn't get to ask him that. I should have.

He and Egret are BigUns now. That's good. I'll see more people soon. Festival is gone. I don't mind. There are memories for now and it will come back again.
